Pat Shumaker

Executive Vice President

Mrs. Shumaker joined Artcraft Management in January of 2018 as their Director of Operations and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2021. She has been in the property management arena for over 30 years and brings an extensive knowledge of the industry to Artcraft. Ms. Shumaker holds multiple industry designations. Those designations being HCCP and SCHM for Low Income Housing Tax Credits; Certified Occupancy Specialist through the National Assisted Housing and Management Association; and a Certified Property Manager and Accredited Residential Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Mrs. Shumaker has had extensive experience in diverse portfolios in the past which encompasses LIHTC properties, RAD conversions, 236, HOPE VI and mixed use as well as conventional. She also brings to Artcraft hands-on experience of company growth, training, operations and administration. Mrs. Shumaker holds real estate broker licenses in Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. She served as IREM Tidewater Chapter 39’s Chapter President in 2001; Mid-Atlantic AHMA President in 2008 and President of Virginia Apartment Management Association in 2016, 2020 and 2021. She continues to serve on the VAMA Board of Directors and is involved in the National Apartment Association on several committees and currently is serving as Vice-Chair of the Affordable Subcommittee in 2022.

Mrs. Shumaker attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
